Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation
- Support tax compliance activities and documentation preparation
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions
- Maintain organized financial records in QuickBooks and Excel
- Collaborate with senior accountants on client deliverables
- Participate in internal audits and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or relevant experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of tax preparation software preferred
- Valid Texas driver's license (for occasional client meetings)
