Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Support tax preparation processes including data collection and documentation
- Contribute to internal audits by verifying financial records and compliance with GAAP
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions with precision and timeliness
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special projects and process improvements
- Document financial procedures and maintain organized audit trails
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
