Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing processes including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and supporting documentation
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and manage vendor relationships
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities
- Support internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP) for transaction processing
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial analysis projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software preferred
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
