Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support accounts payable/receivable operations and vendor management
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and recommend process improvements
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) to maintain financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and financial reporting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- QuickBooks or ERP system experience preferred
- Proactive problem-solving approach and adaptability
- Professional certification (CPA) candidates strongly encouraged
