Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform weekly bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews.
- Process payroll for weekend staff and ensure accurate tax withholdings.
- Prepare and post journal entries for the weekly close.
- Maintain and organize financial records in QuickBooks and Excel.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and monthly statements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or Xero) and MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
