Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, etc.)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit deductions accurately
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare monthly/quarterly reports
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve employee discrepancies promptly
- Coordinate year-end processing (W-2s, 1099s, and 941s)
- Implement and maintain payroll system improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent system proficiency
- Deep knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws and regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Proven problem-solving and attention to detail abilities
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee data
