Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures accurately and on time.
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax reports.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee time records.
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns as required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional bookkeeping experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage accounting software.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Deep knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
