Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage vendor/client communications
- Prepare financial statements and quarterly tax documentation
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for multi-client workflows
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Support month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
