As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial integrity and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and ensure the accuracy of financial data through regular reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Conduct variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve internal controls, financial reporting procedures, and budgeting processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
