Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and tax documentation packages
- Implement QuickBooks solutions and optimize accounting workflows
- Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial planning initiatives
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or relevant certification (CPA preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and accounting software
- Proven track record of managing multi-currency accounts for 20+ clients
- Excellent communication skills for client reporting and team collaboration
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with sales tax compliance in Florida and Texas
