Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Prepare tax documentation and support external audits with accurate documentation
- Maintain and optimize accounting systems for weekend shift efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy across departments
- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated experience with month-end closing and reconciliations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with minimal supervision
