Responsibilities
- Perform weekly and monthly financial reconciliations, including bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
- Generate and distribute financial reports to management and stakeholders.
- Review and code accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- 2-4 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a weekend or shift role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during weekend hours.
