Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely vendor/client payments
- Conduct bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance with precision
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and audits
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with senior management on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (e.g., Sage 50)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Exceptional attention to detail with high accuracy in financial reporting
- Excellent communication skills for client/stakeholder interactions
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
