Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing processes and financial statement preparation
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions with meticulous attention to detail
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities under senior guidance
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial controls
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for data entry and reporting
- Support external audits by providing documentation and financial data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or professional experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with intermediate formula knowledge
- Understanding of fundamental accounting principles and GAAP
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- QuickBooks or ERP software familiarity preferred
