Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with auditors during financial examinations and compliance reviews
- Develop and implement internal controls to enhance financial security
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or public accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and ERP systems (Sage 100 a plus)
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and financial audits
- Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of process improvement
- Strong communication abilities to collaborate across departments and with external partners
