Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support audit preparation by compiling documentation and responding to inquiries
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial compliance
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) for transaction processing and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Research accounting regulations (GAAP) and implement best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- CPA candidate or willingness to pursue certification
