Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a weekly basis.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and payments with 100% accuracy.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial records are up-to-date.
- Assist with quarterly tax preparations and annual audits.
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding billing and inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accountant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet daily deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site meetings.
