Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Process payroll and tax filings for small business clients
- Generate monthly financial statements and variance reports
- Implement QuickBooks software solutions and training
- Manage client communications regarding financial inquiries
- Ensure compliance with IRS and AZ state tax regulations
- Assist with month-end closing procedures
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Knowledge of GAAP and Arizona tax laws
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
