Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Lead accounts payable/receivable processes with emphasis on efficiency and accuracy
- Prepare detailed financial statements and variance analyses for executive leadership
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance financial workflows
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives for departmental and company-wide goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical precision
- Proven experience in financial reporting and month-end closing processes
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
