Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, GL reconciliation, and month-end closings
- Process daily payroll transactions with same-day compensation for eligible staff
- Prepare financial statements and compliance reports for multi-state operations
- Implement internal controls to ensure SOX and GAAP compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel modeling for financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of public/private accounting experience with daily payroll exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of multi-state tax regulations and payroll compliance
- Experience with high-volume transaction processing and reconciliation
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven audit trail documentation
