Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile daily financial transactions for assigned client accounts
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and management reports
- Process payroll with same-day payment processing for staff
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles
- Collaborate with audit teams during financial reviews
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent UK accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in UK accounting
- Proven expertise in daily pay processing systems
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage software
- Strong understanding of UK tax regulations and payroll legislation
- Exceptional attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
