Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts with precision.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports.
- Assist with monthly and annual payroll processing to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently and timely.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow and budget management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or mid-sized firm.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP.
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
