Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision and timeliness.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement analysis to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures and journal entries.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize cash flow management.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in general accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies immediately.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or CPA preferred.
