Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
- Process and verify nightly payroll transactions and ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and post nightly journal entries and adjust accruals.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to the general ledger.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all night-shift specific tasks are completed.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support the finance department during the audit process.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Must be available to work the night shift (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
