Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes with high accuracy and speed.
- Perform nightly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies immediately.
- Prepare nightly financial reports, including trial balances and variance analysis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all entries are posted by the cutoff time.
- Review and audit incoming invoices for compliance and correctness.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc data analysis and reporting needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero accounting software.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data validation).
- Ability to work independently during the night shift with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
