Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Perform general ledger duties and assist in the month-end and year-end close process.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and legal requirements.
- Process payroll and maintain payroll records with precision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification or completion of CPA exam is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
