Responsibilities
- Process daily transactions and reconcile accounts with same-day payment cycles
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports within 24-hour turnaround
- Manage client accounts payable/receivable with daily reconciliation protocols
- Utilize cloud accounting platforms for real-time data entry and analysis
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations for daily transactions
- Support month-end closing procedures with accelerated timelines
- Provide proactive financial insights to clients through daily performance dashboards
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent UK accounting certification
- Minimum 3 years' experience in contract/temporary accounting roles
- Proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks Online, or Sage 50 with daily processing
- Proven ability to reconcile high-volume transactions within tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error reconciliation standards
- Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and macros
- Experience with daily payment processing and same-day invoicing systems
- Right to work in the UK with valid accounting credentials
