Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger reconciliations and ensure accurate financial record-keeping
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with precise attention to detail
- Process payroll and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and optimize cash flow management
- Assist in audit preparations and maintain organized financial documentation
- Implement and improve accounting processes using advanced Excel functions and QuickBooks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with daily pay exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines in high-volume environments
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
