Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and credit data to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approval decisions
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with commercial lending teams to structure optimal financing solutions
- Stay current on industry regulations and economic trends affecting credit markets
- Present findings to credit committees with clear, data-driven insights
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal banking regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software
- Strong understanding of GAAP, credit risk frameworks, and banking regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- FCRA certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with credit scoring models (e.g., FICO, Moody's Analytics)
