Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committees
- Collaborate with senior analysts on complex commercial loan applications
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify early warning signals
- Utilize financial modeling tools (Excel, Moody's Analytics) for scenario analysis
- Present findings to stakeholders using clear data visualization techniques
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting credit decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical aptitude with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn complex financial systems quickly
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Professional demeanor with client-focused mindset
- Willingness to obtain FINRA Series 7/63 within first year
