Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and creditworthiness of commercial borrowers
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports
- Review loan applications for compliance with banking regulations
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit solutions
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for risk indicators
- Participate in industry research and market trend analysis
- Utilize financial modeling software for scenario testing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Strong analytical aptitude and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in team environments
- Interest in commercial lending and financial analysis
- Willingness to obtain FINRA Series 7/63 licenses post-training
- Prior internship or coursework in credit analysis preferred
