Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow data to determine borrower creditworthiness.
- Assess and mitigate credit risk for new loan applications and portfolio management.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and presentations for the loan committee.
- Monitor existing accounts for signs of delinquency or increased risk.
- Utilize financial modeling software to forecast loan performance and repayment capacity.
- Collaborate with loan officers and relationship managers to structure complex financing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state banking regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, banking, or financial services.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Deep understanding of credit scoring models and risk assessment principles.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
