Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends to assess borrower risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessment reports with actionable recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with commercial lending team to structure optimal credit solutions
- Stay updated on regulatory compliance (FDIC, OCC, and internal policies)
- Present complex financial data clearly to senior management and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Proficient in financial modeling software (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ)
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and credit risk assessment frameworks
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Professional certification (CFA, CMA, or CRCM) preferred
