Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and collateral to determine applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit risk assessments and recommendation reports
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure credit solutions
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
- Identify trends in borrower behavior and market conditions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 2+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
- Deep understanding of credit risk assessment methodologies
- Familiarity with banking regulations (Regulations B, C, Z)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
