Responsibilities
- Review and analyze loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to determine creditworthiness.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and prepare detailed credit memos for internal lending committees.
- Monitor existing accounts to identify early warning signs of delinquency or default.
- Communicate findings and credit decisions clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal banking regulations and internal policies.
- Update and maintain accurate records in our financial management systems.
- Assist in the development of credit scoring models and internal reporting tools.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (occasional travel required).
- Aptitude for learning new software and banking systems quickly.
