Responsibilities
- Review and analyze credit applications and financial statements to determine creditworthiness.
- Assess borrower risk profiles and recommend approval, denial, or limits based on company policy.
- Monitor existing accounts for signs of financial distress or delinquency.
- Prepare detailed credit reports and presentations for management review.
- Collaborate with the sales and underwriting teams to streamline the loan approval process.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local lending regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the credit management system.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or a related financial role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of credit scoring models and risk assessment principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
