Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessments for loan applications and account reviews.
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and collateral documentation to determine creditworthiness.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models aligned with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for approval committees.
- Monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks to minimize default rates.
- Collaborate with the sales team to structure deals that meet client needs while protecting company assets.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- 2+ years of professional experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial risk management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and risk management principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting tight deadlines.
