Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments and analysis of loan applications.
- Review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial data to determine creditworthiness.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and present findings to the credit committee.
- Monitor and manage existing loan portfolios to identify early warning signs of default.
- Develop and maintain internal credit scoring models and guidelines.
- Collaborate with sales and underwriting teams to ensure consistent lending standards.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic indicators.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or related financial role.
- Strong proficiency in financial analysis software and MS Office Suite (Advanced Excel required).
- Experience with credit scoring models and loan management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
