Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and credit risk assessment for prospective clients.
- Review loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to determine creditworthiness.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for the underwriting team.
- Monitor existing accounts for early warning signs of default or financial distress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the lending process.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in credit analysis or risk management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and financial modeling.
- Deep understanding of credit scoring models and regulatory compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
