Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and business plans to determine credit limits and loan terms for new and existing clients.
- Monitor account performance and identify potential risks to the organization's portfolio.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos, risk assessment reports, and recommendations for the credit committee.
- Collaborate with sales and loan officers to ensure accurate underwriting processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with all federal banking regulations, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular reviews of aging accounts and resolve any discrepancies or collection issues.
- Utilize financial modeling software to project cash flows and repayment capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in credit analysis or risk assessment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and stakeholder interactions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within a flexible schedule.
