Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements and creditworthiness of applicants
- Prepare detailed credit reports and risk assessment documents
- Collaborate with lending team to structure optimal credit solutions
- Monitor existing portfolios for compliance and risk indicators
- Stay current with industry regulations and lending standards
- Present findings to credit committees with clear recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation in loan origination systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools
- Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Professional certification (CFA, FRM, or CRCM) preferred
- Experience with credit scoring models and loan origination systems
