- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns (Form 1040, 1120, 1065)
- Research complex tax regulations and provide compliance guidance
- Assist with tax planning strategies and client consultations
- Manage tax documentation and maintain client files
- Collaborate with senior associates on audit support and IRS correspondence
- Utilize tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, UltraTax) for efficient processing
- Stay updated on tax law changes and implement best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a high-volume environment
- New Jersey residency required for immediate onboarding
