Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit memos and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure credit solutions aligned with client needs
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Develop predictive models for default probability and loss given default scenarios
- Present credit recommendations to senior management with clear rationale
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in financial modeling software and Excel advanced functions
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis and financial statement interpretation
- Credit certification (CRCM or CCE) preferred
- Exceptional analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial data
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling autonomy
