Responsibilities
- Develop and implement compliance frameworks aligned with federal/state regulations (FINRA, SEC, CFPB)
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across all departments
- Investigate and resolve compliance violations with corrective action plans
- Deliver mandatory compliance training to 200+ employees quarterly
- Monitor regulatory updates and advise on policy modifications
- Collaborate with legal team on compliance-driven initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years compliance experience in financial services
- Active CCEP or CRC certification
- Expert knowledge of CA financial regulations
- Advanced proficiency in compliance software (e.g., Compliance.ai)
- Exceptional analytical and investigative skills
- Proven ability to train diverse audiences
- Strong written/verbal communication abilities
