Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth analysis of borrower financial statements, credit reports, and cash flow projections to assess credit risk.
- Prepare and present credit memos and recommendations to the credit committee for approval.
- Monitor existing portfolio accounts to identify early warning signs of financial distress.
- Collaborate with underwriting and sales teams to structure loan terms and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update the internal credit database with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about economic trends affecting the credit portfolio.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of professional experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or commercial lending.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Yardi).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
