Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse portfolio clients
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with actionable insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Coordinate with auditors during quarterly/annual reviews
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and industry-specific regulations
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks and Xero
- Lead month-end closing procedures with zero-tolerance for errors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks/Xero and Excel
- Proven track record in multi-client portfolio management
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
- Tennessee CPA license or actively pursuing certification
- Experience with SaaS industry accounting preferred
