Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for portfolio clients
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing processes and journal entries
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Support tax preparation and documentation requirements
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial strategy initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 3+ years of accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA certification or actively pursuing (preferred)
- Strong GAAP knowledge and regulatory compliance understanding
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written communication for client interactions
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
