Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare detailed credit recommendations and risk mitigation strategies for commercial loan portfolios
- Monitor existing credit exposures and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers to structure optimal financing solutions
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements (FIRREA, Reg B, etc.)
- Present complex financial analyses clearly to senior stakeholders and credit committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience in banking/lending
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg)
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, ratio calculations, and covenant monitoring
- Proven ability to interpret industry-specific financial metrics and trends
- Professional certification (CFA, CMA, or CRCM) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
