Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess borrower risk profiles
- Prepare comprehensive credit recommendations and risk mitigation strategies
- Monitor existing loan portfolios and identify early warning signs of potential defaults
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure credit facilities aligned with client needs
- Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting credit policies and compliance requirements
- Document credit analysis in compliance with internal policies and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong understanding of cash flow analysis, collateral valuation, and covenant structures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex financial data
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) or willingness to obtain
- Ability to manage competing priorities with flexible scheduling
