Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis on new and existing clients, including reviewing financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports.
- Assess the creditworthiness of applicants and determine appropriate credit limits and terms.
- Monitor customer accounts to identify potential risks of default and take proactive measures to mitigate them.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and recommendations for credit approval or denial.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure accurate and timely loan processing.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes affecting credit risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or related financial roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
- Experience with credit scoring models and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to present findings to stakeholders.
